Paralives: Indie competition for the Sims in work

The Sims could soon get serious competition as a life simulation game. Namely, the Para lives Studio founded by Alex Mass is currently working on the first plant. The Indie team refers to his project as a dollhouse life simulation game in which player build houses, create characters and manage their lives in an open world.

Para lives are still in the pre-alpha phase and has no release date yet. Nevertheless, the Para lives team already provides insights into some functions in development, such as house construction. The game offers innovative construction tools that can already be admired in a first showcase video. You should be easy to use, but still suitable for experienced house builders. As with The Sims, it will be allowed to players, the life of their Para folks, so the developers call the characters in the game to direct them and they either have a happy or if desired as well as an unfortunate life.

Paralives House VS Sims 4 Recreation

Recently, the Para lives team has introduced further tools for character creation. They seem to be much more extensive than in Sims 4. The associated showcase video shows that with a series of sliders, the complete dimensions of the character bodies can be adjusted. You can almost literally change everything from head to foot. Another highlight is probably the body hair and the tattoos. Body hair is not available in Sims outside of Mods. All tattoos on the body, can be freely scaled, rotated and placed. So far, there are only a handful of prefabricated skin tones. The developers promise in the video that they will add more. Nevertheless, there is already a skin tone tool with which its own skin tones can be created from a pallet or a color wheel.

Par alive should appear for PC and Mac.
