The Last Stand: Aftermath Area Guide
The last stand: consequences takes place in a huge and expanding world, and all those areas can be a bit confusing. What is the difference between a military position and a checkpoint? What are all these free houses about? Why are the trunks and the camping grounds are basically the same? All these questions, and more, will be answered in our The Last Stand: Consequences Area Guide.
Last Stand: Consequences Areas — Universal
These can be found anywhere in the world, not only in specific areas.
Safe houses
These are areas where you do not have to worry about the threat that a zombie will start your throat suddenly. They can be different and style depending on where you are, but always provide you with some fuel and, usually, a radio to call home for updates. Usually, you can also find other supplies here, such as herbs and random miscellaneous garbage. Once you have updated them, here you will also find ammunition, craft supplies and healing items.
Military position / base / control post
Basically, everything is the same at different scales that increase along with the areas you travel. Here, in general, you can find a decent amount of ammunition and, almost certainly, some antiviral, but you will also have to deal with more zombies and stronger ones to start. There are some strategies here, which involve using unbreakable padlock doors for your advantage, but apart from that, enter with confidence and a great weapon to return home with a lot of booty.
The middle of nowhere
An absolute parody of a place that should be avoided. Everything you will find here most of the time are many zombies and some fuel to take you where you need to be. It should be taken into account that you can occasionally find a decent booty here, as batteries, but it is rare.
Supply cache
Flexible caches can be in any type of area, but you will find at least one flexible cache, usually in the middle of the place. You will have to activate them, attracting a horde for you to fight.
Fuel station
It is more likely to have gasoline, which is excellent, especially once the fuel efficiency has increased and unlocked the ability to drive by more areas. These make great stops even if technically you can go further with the fuel you currently have.
LAST STAND: Consequences Areas — Suburbs
small / big neighborhood
A complete random blend of different things. You can find any type of booty here, and also any amount of zeds with which to deal with. Be careful with the basements to explore in these areas, as they contain a decent booty most of the time. It should also be attentive to traps, since some people have put explosive traps in their homes. If you enter a house, you are attentive to random shotguns near the doors or mysterious appearance lights.
Shop / Strip mall
Areas that usually have many supplies, but supplies are completely random. Most stores seem to have been looted long before you arrive here. The type of supplies that are most likely to find will depend on the store in question. For example, a weapons store will have more weapons, while a pharmacy will have more medicines, etc. Sometimes you will find a group of stores closes to each other, which is incredibly useful to gather a variety of supplies.
Restaurant
Usually, it is quite similar to the location of the store, but (supposedly) is more likely to find food here. As with any inner location, be careful not to get stuck in the corners.
Lock of Her
An area where you will have to stop each time you leave the suburbs. Your first time here will face the challenge of crossing the wall.
Last Stand: Consequences Areas — Mountains
Rural neighborhood
Similar to the neighborhoods of the suburbs, but more rural (Natch). The biggest difference here is that you will see fewer houses, since these places have very separate houses. Because you are in the second area at this stage, you are also more likely to see special zombies and things like that.
Lumber camp
A rural area full of a wide variety of supplies, but also full of zombies. There is also at least one river to cross, which can be a bit annoying.
Camp / trunks / forest cottage
These areas are usually quite scarce in terms of supplies, but they can contain some good things. Be attentive to the zombies that hide in the foliage, since they can really catch him by surprise if he is not on guard. These areas also usually have large ditches and divots by which you should navigate if you want to collect supplies that are found.
MOTEL.
Pretty standard area with lots of rooms to check. Because it is so built, it can be easy to get stuck in the corners here, but if you have few supplies, it can be worth risking.
Trailer Park
It is not just a great place to establish a series of false documentaries. This is quite unique in many ways, but also something similar to the area of motels. You will find many individual trailers with a lot of booty to find, but there are also many zeds. Keep in mind that trailers can be fatal traps if they catch him off guard.
Last Stand: Consequences Areas — Sunken City
City Block / Streets / Shopping District
All basically similar shots on the same topic: it is a city. You will have many debris and trash with which you deal with, as well as a lot of Zeds, so be sure to be well-equipped before reaching these places.
Abandoned compound
The previous basis of a group of survivors, probably evil types based on skulls. Either way, they are not always very heavy in resources, but they are generally quite heavy in Zeds. Make sure you have updated your search fees or will regret it.
City park
The only natural space of Sunken City. Basically it feels and plays as an improved version of forests from the previous area. Be attentive to the enemies disguised or will regret it.
Last Stand: Consequences Areas — Hell
Observation post / Containment camp / Supply deposit
All different versions of the same, that is, a small area built with some limited supplies, but a metric load of zombies. Sometimes there is also a secondary level to explore, as well as the unattainable occasional area on the left side with which you will only have to live.
Bunker
These areas can be legitimate expansion death labyrinths. At first, it seems pretty generic, but once you open it way through the turrets and zombies on the surface, you will find a network of tunnels fulls of enemies, but also filled with supplies. You can get some of the best gambling weapons in these places if you are lucky, and you are completely updated.
Town
What would happen if the neighborhoods of the first area were on fire? That is basically this, but larger and dangerous enemies. Fortunately, the booty has also been improved. Just be careful with closed curves and try not to use noisy weapons unless it is necessary, or you will find a horde in your ass faster than you can blink.
Fountain of unknown signal
The last location on the map. This is an underground bunker similar to others you have seen, but it is also the place where you will face the final boss. Then, you will also go back here for post-game challenges. Apply the rules for very closed spaces and the general pain of late play areas, and should go on top, it is not that amount.
