Tencent Games: Zoran Roso appointed Marketing Director of Publication
As part of its inevitable international expansion, Tencent Games has announced the recruitment of Zoran Rose as Marketing Director in charge of published games outside China.
Zoran Rose, who took office in the Munich Premises of Tencent Games, navigated in the middle of the video game since 2004. He has successively worked at Rock star, Blizzard, Activision and PlayStation, still in Germany and always at the top of the Marketing Pole. His recruitment at Tencent Games is part of the deployment of the Group's international presence, whose fortune is initially based on the success of its games in China, Honor of Kings in the lead. Currently known at home for its mobile games like Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile or Pokémon Unite, Tencent must now make a clean identity with players around the world. For this, the group is setting up its own studios responsible for producing AAA games on all platforms, especially Team Kiev which is headed by Scott Warner (Halo) and Rosetta Zagortcheva (Battlefield). These efforts are added to the announcement of games as Honor of Kings World, acquisitions (Riot Games, Supercell, Sumo, Fun com, Sun) and innumerable investments (Epic Games, frowned, Marvelous, PlatinumGames, Platonic) In the quarter ended September 30, 2021, the sales of Tencent Games outside China increased by 20% to reach 1.5 billion euros, thanks to the performance of Valor and Clash of Clans (against 4.6 billion euros for Chinese turnover).
